Founded in 1963, the Presque Isle Historical Society seeks to study, preserve, and promote the history, local culture, heritage, and physical artifacts of Presque Isle for future generations.
The Presque Isle Historical Society strives to accomplish its mission through a variety of public programs and activities including but not limited to exhibits, publications, lectures, tours, and operation of the Vera Estey House and the historic Fire Station.
